From the beginning of time, people have asked big questions: Where did we come from? How did the world begin? What is our purpose? Many of the world’s major religions include a creation story – a way of explaining how everything began.

Although these stories differ in detail, they often share similar ideas. They explore the relationship between humans and the universe, the role of a divine creator or force, and how life came to be.
