Jack's story
‘I’d last had a full sexual health check-up in October 2009. Depending on how ‘lucky’ I’d been, these check-ups could either be six or 12 months apart, just like a check-up at the dentist. It was the beginning of September 2010, so I booked an appointment at the clinic.
‘It was a week after my check-up on a Friday morning when a text came through on my phone telling me there was: ‘No need for any follow up appointment.’ To be honest, I didn’t expect to have anything.
